Dominick R Pilla Associates designed this 3,000 sq ft home on a lakefront home and included our open-riser single stringer staircase. We built this unique grand entry mono stringer staircase with the Keuka Style cable railing for this home on Candlewood Lake. This modern home has a double staircase leading to each end of the home’s upper level with a single stair leading to the wide-open great room. Each staircase has a steel single stringer and thick oak wood treads. The curved railing runs along the second level catwalk, the multi-level staircase, and continues to wrap around the basement opening and provide a barrier to the sunken kitchen. The curved posts and cable railings are an impressive statement for this grand entry. The same railing style is used on the exterior bridge to the main entrance and the balconies overlooking the lake.
