Our client in Cupertino, California wanted to replace their rotted redwood deck railing with something sleek and modern that would allow for better visibility. They chose our Tokyo Style cable railing system that features slender posts and cable infill that looks nearly transparent. We fabricated the railing system to be fascia-mounted with “Dazzling Pewter” powder-coated steel posts and a wood top rail. Fascia or front mounting of the posts removes the mounting plates and hardware from the deck view which results in a clean streamlined appearance with slim lines. As part of our design process, we start with renderings to help you visualize our railing on your deck project, a couple of renderings are shown below that gives a visual representation of how the finished deck will look.
