This stairway was a colloborative design effort working with the architect, builder, interior desingner and our team. The floating staircase with a center steel spine descends 3 stories. As a focal point of the interior space, the resulting staircase creates the illusion of cascading down each flight as if unconnected to the house structure.

Matt black posts and stainless cable contrast nicely against the heart pine floors.
A computer rendering of the entire stair railing and loft was used to help all involved to visualize the finished product.
