Bolting on the posts. A string line is a handy way to ensure the top of the posts are level and in line. On this deck, the contractor used a piece of 2x4 to set the height since the deck it self was very level and straight.

Insert the threaded terminal into the corner post, add a washer and nut to the other side.

Here a post is installed but the top rail is not on yet. Some of the cables are strung (but not tensioned).

Insert the Feeney Quick connect fitting into the hole on the end post. Then pull the cable through the hole and hand tension.

The cable spacer is a steel spreadrer piece that can be used to reduce overall number of posts slightly and reduce apparent mass.
